Every ElderCounsel member has a dedicated Account Manager which is their gateway to utilizing all of the resources and tools provided in membership. From training and ElderDocx assistance to marketing and business development tools, Account Managers make it easier to do what you do best! Over the next few weeks, we’ll introduce you to each of the Account Managers. Last time we featured Maggie Smothers. Today we focus on the eastern coast.
Meet Dania Lane
Dania lives in Lilburn, Georgia, with her husband and daughter. She has a degree from the University of Georgia in Music Performance. Her spare time is spent with family going camping, attending Girl Scout events, and relaxing. She also enjoys playing the harp for weddings, orchestras, and choral groups.
Tell us a little about your background, and how you came to ElderCounsel:
I discovered that I enjoy being a part of people's lives through my experience as a Classical harpist. Over time, I leveraged that experience to become more involved in patient healthcare where client satisfaction is crucial. From there I transitioned to ElderCounsel where my Account Manager team provides support to our members, who in turn can better serve their clients.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I am happy when my members are happy. When a member calls with an issue or a question and leaves with resolution, I know I've accomplished something by helping them.
What are you most excited about this year at ElderCounsel?
ElderCounsel has some wonderful new additions coming, including an enhanced Practice Enhancement Program and our online ElderDocx platform. I am also looking forward to traveling to events around the country to work with members in person.
If you could give one piece of advice to new members, what would it be?
Don't feel like you must know everything right away. ElderCounsel has support in place to make sure you are able to serve your clients without feeling like you're on your own. Reach out to your Account Manager for any questions or reservations you have, and we can help you.
Dania is the Account Manager for the eastern coast including the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, and Georgia.
