ElderCounsel member firm Clinkscales Elder Law Practice, PA recently announced Jennifer Walters as an equity partner in the firm.

Walters has practiced elder law and estate planning with Clinkscales Elder Law Practice, P.A since 2009, after graduating from Washburn University School of Law, where she earned her juris doctor degree and a certificate in environmental law. She has been an integral part of the firm's growth to three attorneys and a full time staff of 10.
Speaking of growth, Randy Clinkscales recently made a large but practical decision that he is certain will enable the firm to realize continued growth.
He created a separate LLC comprised of all firm staff, except the attorneys, that will be owned by his present accounting firm. This allows the practice to lease employees affording Randy the ability to retain hiring authority. The accounting firm will handle all the technology, human relations (assisting with hiring and retaining talent), benefit management and coordination.
The new business arrangement will free Randy to devote more time to growing the practice. It also allows him the opportunity to expand services geographically. The accounting firm has 14 offices, that will be available to Randy, his staff and his clients.
Lastly, it is a win for employees who will enjoy much broader benefits than the firm could offer with a small office. “We can tailor our lawyer benefits to fit the lawyer needs. The arrangement also includes a developed succession plan for my law partner and other incoming lawyers,” comments Clinkscales.
