Rupert J. Smith Law Library of St. Lucie County recently published an article on ABLE accounts written by ElderCounsel Member, Heather Smith. For people with disabilities, or the parents of a child with disabilities, it can seem impossible to save for the future without either compromising government benefits or setting up cumbersome Special Needs Trusts. The new ABLE accounts may offer a better way.
