Last week ElderCounsel member Jake Mason hosted his first annual “Elder Law Expo & Workshop.” This one-day, complimentary education workshop for his community, started with “What on Earth is Elder Law?” and continued throughout the day to cover dementia, prevention of physical decline, healthcare and the law. The core focus was to use National Elder Law Month as a reason to get out into the community and educate the general public about what he offers as an elder law attorney.
